2 Terror Attacks by Palestinians in Israel March 13, 2016

2 Palestinian terror attacks

On Monday morning, March 13, 2016, around 6:45am Two Arab terrorists, armed with a pistol and a rifle, opened fire on Israeli civilians and soldiers at a bus stop.

It took place at a bus stop at Elias junction, near the entrance of  Kiryat Arba, a Jewish neighborhood on the outskirts of Hebron, in the Judean mountains.

This ancient Jewish homeland, named Judea, meaning “land of the Jews”  is in an area now referred to as the “West Bank.” Kiryat Arba is mentioned in the Bible (Genesis 23) as th

e place where Abraham buried Sarah. The town was established in 1970  as the Jewish suburb of Hebron, and is now home to over 7800 Jewish residents.

The Arabs have been told by their leadership that it is acceptable to kill the Jewish residents, calling them “occupiers” and “settlers,” even-though the land is in Israel and protected by International law.

The two terrorists were killed as IDF soldiers, guarding the bus stop for the early morning commuters, quickly put a halt to the attack. One IDF soldier was injured.

A half an hour later, a second Arab driver tried to kill the soldiers at Elias Junction by ramming them with his car. Again, a soldier was injured and the terrorist was shot and killed.
